OUT
OF STOCK, sorry. We may get some more back in stock, eventually.
Feel free to order in that event, but for now, sorry this
one is all gone. 3 CD`s for $16....rawking! That`s what
you have here with Volume 8. Yes, EIGHT. Wow! David Bash
and his amazing labor of pop love travel the world now
to bring the message of great music to not only the fans
of power pop, but music fans at large; the ones who go
`power pop?!?!` These festivals are done in Los Angeles,
Liverpool, Boston, New York City, Chicago and Nashville
and, sometimes, other places. Each year, when The International
Pop Overthrow Festival comes to LA, David lets us press
up a *limited* bunch of the CD to help make available
to all the folks who can`t make it to LA. As usual there
is a large mix of previously unreleased songs, rare songs
and upcoming releases mixed in with previously available
trax. The 3 CD`s here have, gulp, 65 songs on them, including
a rare unreleased track from Jim Ellison of legendary
band Material Issue and a rare track from The Micheal
Guthrie Band! Other highlights include upcoming trax from
Not Lame releases from Pat Buchanan(Idle Jets), The Everyday
Things and Fresh Mowed Lawn(Tim Rose from Sun Sawed In
1/2), as well as trax from Mark Johnson, The Tearaways,
The Afternoons, Sparkwood, The Oohs, Phamous Phaces, sparkle*jets
UK, Ben`s Diapers, Blue Cartoon, The Rhinos and tons of
new bands we have never even heard of before this arrived!

talent on the indie power pop and rock scene----it`s 3

that these days, we ask?!! Volume 7! Can you believe it?!
As occurs now all year long, David Bash and his amazing
labor of pop love travel the world bringing the message
of great pop music to not only the fans of power pop,
but to tons of folks who have no idea what on earth it
is. These festivals are done in Los Angeles, San Francisco,
New York, Chicago, Boston, Baltimore, Liverpool and other
East Coast locales, too. Each year, when IPO Los Angeles
occurs, he compiles 3 CDs of some of the finest on the
indie pop scene. David lets us press up a limited supply
to make available to those who can not attend the festival(a
little less than 500 copies, so don`t wait!) and once
they are gone, they are gone forever (if you attend, they
are given away `free` by IPO). As usual there`s a large
mix of previously released songs, but more than half of
these are unreleased or rare trax. Highlights on this
years` volume is a totally unreleased track from Jason
Falkner but other bands/artists include Owsley, Tommy
Keene, Blue Ash, Feel(Wanderlust/Scot Sax), The Toms,
Easterly, The Well Wishers, The General Store, Sweet Apple
Pie, Jeremy and so many others--full list below. It`s
a great chance to see, hear and enjoy what`s really going
on all the great indie pop that is not only chart, radio
