Cait Brennan – A singer-songwriter with a unique brand of glitter glam soulful rock n’ roll sung straight from the heart. Plus, you gotta love anyone who can channel Roy Orbison, Elton John, Freddy Mercury, John Lennon, and Etta James in the space of a single set! Her latest album, Third, the follow up to the critically acclaimed Debutante, was recorded at the legendary Ardent Studios in Memphis, and was released on Omnivore Records to equally stunning reviews!
 
DFactor Pop – Combining quirkily clever lyrics with classic pop melodies, Dfactor will appeal to fans of The Jam, The Beatles, and Cheap Trick, to name but a few! “Girl On A Screen,” the single from his latest EP, The Bang Session>, is a power pop guitar banger, full of crunchy guitar hooks, winning melodies and fun lyrics that tell the story of love and romance conducted over SnapChat screens, and provides a preview of more poppy goodness to come later this spring!
 
Marvin Leo Forte – Anyone who cites influences like The Beatles, Badfinger, Del Amitri, Joe Jackson, Squeeze, and XTC has definitely got it going on, and Forte lives up to the billing as he brings some sweet power pop jangle with a bit of that classic Arizona inflection! Gorgeous stuff!
 
Naked Chollas – If you long for the heyday of a real band that plays real instruments that can sing and actually have melody and some killer harmonies then you need to listen no further then Naked Chollas. Their critically acclaimed 1998 Let’s Go! CD is considered by many to be a desert powerpop classic, and although they no longer play very often, when they do, they can still do it better than just about anyone!
 
Carol Pacey and The Honey Shakers – Originally from the East Coast, Pacey moved out west and became enamored with what Arizona and Mexico had to offer. Her uncommonly upbeat songs blend Americana’s mix of folk, alt-country and rock ‘n roll, with a touch of the desert rock style of her adopted home. She brings it all to her shows with enthusiasm, ease and pure joy, so come check her out now, and while there, pick up a copy of the band’s latest album, Eyes On The Prize!
 
Serious Play – Originally formed in 2007, Serious Play perform original rock/pop/blues music…but sometimes throw in a classic or two for good measure! Their goal is to infuse their own personalities into the music, creating a unique style in each song. They continue to evolve in creating new harmonies, lyrics, and instrumentation, for an unparalleled style of music.
 
The Sugar Skulls – Featuring a revolving ensemble cast of future rock stars (currently aged 11 – 17), The Sugar Skulls are here to entertain and amaze you with some of the hottest young talent from the East Valley Schools of Rock. Their repertoire includes everything from Led Zeppelin and The Beatles to Green Day, The White Stripes, and Adele, and their IPO showcase promises to be a good time for all!
 
Sundai – If you thought grunge was dead, then think again! These 14 & 15 year olds take that classic grunge sound and infuse it with a healthy dose of big arena rock energy that fans of artists from Nirvana to Pearl Jam and Alice Cooper will surely appreciate!
 
The Twits – A boy/girl pop rock duo in the grand tradition of artists such as The White Stripes and The Carpenters, The Twits write and perform original songs, and at age 10 and 8 are the youngest active band performing in Phoenix today! The last 10 year old songwriter to play IPO (Christo Bowman of Bad Suns) is now all grown up, signed to a label, and playing stadiums around the world! Could The Twits be next??? Come to their IPO Showcase and decide for yourself!

Leisure McCorkle – We’re always grateful when this gentleman makes his way to IPO, which he’s done in several cities around the world, all the way from Charlotte, North Carolina! Fans of Joe Jackson and Graham Parker will love his sturdy rock n’ roll, as he possesses a voice so strong that he really doesn’t need a microphone! Check out his classic CD, Jet Set Baby, and his recent disc, 5000 Light Years Beyond The Speed Of Sound, and you’ll know what I’m talkin’ about!
