1) What was the reason you chose the song you did for the IPO CD?
It’s an upbeat song which we feel would best fit the power pop CD package. It’s explosively contagious. Very positive reviews from those that have heard it.
2) If you could play your dream gig, which other three to four artists would be on the bill with you? They can be living, defunct, or dead.
Wilko Johnson, Bernie Edwards, Anthony Kiedis, (chilis) Bowie, Freddie Mercury and Morrissey.
3) Which artists are you/your band most inspired by?
Beatles, Smiths, The Clash, REM.
4) What is your favorite part about playing IPO and/or being on the IPO CD?
Sharing our musical gifts and meeting, watching other bands.
5) How can people who fall in love with your song on the IPO CD get more of your music and find out about any gigs you’re playing?

IPO Vol 20 CD Song: “Miles & Miles”
1) What was the reason you chose the song you did for the IPO CD?
We wanted something upbeat with a quick tempo, so we chose “Miles & Miles.” It quickly became a fan favorite when playing live, so once we got around to recording it, it was an obvious choice for IPO.
2) If you could play your dream gig, which other three to four artists would be on the bill with you? They can be living, defunct, or dead.
Thin Lizzy, Green Day, Eric Clapton, AC/DC
3) Which artists are you/your band most inspired by?
Thin Lizzy, Jet, Eric Clapton, Green Day, Rory Gallagher, Foo Fighters, Kings of Leon
4) What is your favorite part about playing IPO and/or being on the IPO CD?
Being considered to play at a festival with such a high standard and quality of music. Getting to meet with other artists from across the globe and share with them the opportunity to play on such icon stages as The Cavern Club. IPO CDs just ooze top class production and musical quality, being part of it is an honor.

IPO Vol 20 CD Song: “Rod Stewart”
1) What was the reason you chose the song you did for the IPO CD?
“Rod Stewart” – our song on the compilation – represents perfectly what “Jengi” want to Sound like. We breath sixties and seventies. We managed to come pretty close to the sound of the “Faces” on that one. Plus: We thought that Rod the mod and Rodney Bingenheimer would match perfectly! 🙂

The Faces, Ennio Morricone, Neil Young and…. Züri West
3) Which artists are you/your band most inspired by?
The Faces, Neil Young, The La’s, The Beatles, The Soundtrack Of Our Lives, Motown & Northern Soul and some psychedelic stuff like The Pretty Things or Kraut Rock à la Neu!. It’s all about the melody!! (and a bit Züri West)
4) What is your favorite part about playing IPO and/or being on the IPO CD?
Being surrounded by music and every now and then playing some yourself – what more do you want?
